The Anzar High boys basketball team opened up its 2010-11 campaign on Tuesday night with a 58-21 loss at Harker School in San Jose.

Offensive production was limited for the Hawks, who fall to 0-1 on the season.

Jesse Ramirez and Andres Gomez paced Anzar with seven points apiece, while Nick Salgado added six points in the loss.

Several changes to the schedule have the Hawks off until next Thursday, Dec. 9, when the team will play St. Francis CCC in San Juan Bautista. Tip-off is 6 p.m.
