City fills pothole near courthouse
There had been a pothole down the middle of Monterey Street
adjacent to the courthouse for more than a month, but the City of
Hollister’s street crews took care of the impediment late last
week.
The Pinnacle first featured the jagged pothole in late May when

There had been a pothole down the middle of Monterey Street adjacent to the courthouse for more than a month, but the City of Hollister’s street crews took care of the impediment late last week.
The Pinnacle first featured the jagged pothole in late May when city streets official Ray Rojas noted crews go out on Fridays with a list of potholes to fill.
Last week, he noted how he had passed on the pothole to his crews and that it would get done soon, which it did.
The pothole is filled and fixed, and drivers no longer have to worry about driving over the damage or swerving to avoid it.
Rojas also pointed out how the public works employees assigned to such work had been busy with other projects such as painting projects.
