Stereo equipment was taken from a vehicle at about 10:55 p.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of Westside Boulevard in Hollister, police said. There are no suspects.

A business was entered through a broken front window at about 4 a.m. Monday in the 1700 block of Airline Highway in Hollister, police said. A roll of quarters was taken, police said. There are no suspects.

A hair salon was entered through a broken front glass door at about midnight Monday in the 300 block of Tres Pinos Road in Hollister, police said. About $250 in cash was taken from a register, police said. There are no suspects.

Arson

Grass on a baseball field was set ablaze with gasoline at about 9:35 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Union Road and Cerra Vista Drive in Hollister, police said. There are no suspects.

Shooting

A residence was targeted with gunfire at about 12:57 a.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of Glenview Court in Hollister, police said. Authorities believe two shots were fired, police said. There are no suspects.

Two 15-year-old Hollister boys were arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of burglary, a felony, after a traffic stop at 8 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Fourth and East streets in Hollister, police said. Officers found two Jack Daniel’s whiskey bottles with security caps during a search, police said.

Drunk in public

A 64-year-old Hollister man was arrested by the police on suspicion of public intoxication, a misdemeanor, after he was found at 11:49 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Fifth and East streets in Hollister, police said.
