Arrests

Bad check

A 31-year-old Hollister man was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of passing a bad check, a felony, after officers responded to a business at about 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the 1200 block of San Juan Road in Hollister, police said. A man attempted to pass a $3,000 check, police said.

Burglary

An 19-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of burglary, a felony, after responding to a theft call at about 6 p.m. Thursday in the 500 block of Tres Pinos Road in Hollister, police said. A bottle of alcohol was taken, police said.

Trespassing

A 24-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of breaking and entering and battery, both misdemeanors, after officers responded to a residence at 12:26 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of Alvarado Street in Hollister, police said. A man entered a residence and pushed a woman and another man, police said.

Fighting

Two Hollister men, a 30-year-old and a 20-year-old, were arrested by police on suspicion of battery and fighting, both misdemeanors, after officers responded to a fight at 12:20 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of San Benito Street in Hollister, police said.
