Nearly 300 local and bay area middle school students and 50 of their parents attended Gavilan Community College’s explosive workshops February 2 in Gilroy. A diverse group of leading professionals, cutting edge researchers and university professors instructed the unique workshops, giving students a taste of their science-based careers.
After seven successful years, science is still alive at Gavilan College.
