Anzar High School Teacher Chris Wardlaw is in the drawing to win $10,000 for his school in the Comcast SportsNet Bay Area’s 2008 All-Star Teacher Award.

Wardlaw is competing against four other teachers for the prize, for which the winner will be announced July 20 during the San Francisco Giants Pregame live show.

Finalists were chosen based on their accomplishments in four areas, according to a press release. The areas were: Overall Commitment, Excellence in Teaching, Rapport with Students and Level of Distinction.

People can vote online at ComcastSportsNet.com for the teacher they want to win until July 15. People can also get an official ballot from the San Francisco Chronicle.
