Hollister police Capt. Bob Brooks declined to specify what type of weapon the suspect used, but confirmed he waved it at owner Bill Mifsud.

Police suspect a male – described as Hispanic with a white tanktop – brandished the weapon and demanded money, said Brooks, who noted that an undisclosed amount of money was taken.

The captain also described the suspect as having short hair and arms covered in tattoos. The investigation continues, and anyone with information can call the Hollister Police Department at 636-4330.
