Officials with the San Benito County Fair wish to remind the community of the upcoming event for small animal tagging, according to an announcement from the fairgrounds.
According to the announcement:
All livestock entries must be pre-tagged in order to participate in the 2015 fair happening October 1-4. The tagging will take place on Saturday, Aug. 1 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at San Benito High School in the southwest corner parking lot.  Participants should watch for directional signage.  Questions may be directed to Livestock Superintendent Rodney Bianchi at 831-801-7001.
Entries for the 2015 San Benito County Fair will be available on the fair website, www.sanbenitocountyfair.com, beginning Aug. 1. This year livestock entries will be taken exclusively online. For more information, individuals may contact the fair office at (831) 628-3421.
