Hollister soccer team finishes 2nd
BELMONT
The Hollister Cyclones 14U competition soccer team finished runner-up in their division at the CYSA District II Cup on Oct. 4 and 5 in Belmont.
After going undefeated in their bracket, the Cyclones advanced to the finals but fell 2-1 in the championship match.
The Cyclones are part of the Hollister Tremors Soccer Club and are currently in the middle of their fall season.
District II is comprised of competitive soccer teams from San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito counties.
