Hollister downtown businesses got into the spirit of Halloween by participating in the annual costume contest sponsored by the Hollister Downtown Association. Recognitions were given in several categories, including Best Theme, Most Original and Best Window Display. CLOCKWISE FROM TOP LEFT: Employees at Drapoel dressed as witches to win for Best Theme. City Manager Clint Quilter’s get up as a golfer who had an unfortunate accident earned the Scariest Costume honors. A “Killer Bee” takes home the “Most Original” prize. Wachovia Bank received marks for “Best Interior.”
