022 graduated with high honors and have been placed on the Navy’s
Boot camp Hall of Fame for passing training exercises with near
perfect scores.

Michael Andrew Chavez, of Hollister, completed eight weeks of basic training for the United States Navy in Waukeegan, Ill. Div 022 graduated with high honors and have been placed on the Navy’s Boot camp Hall of Fame for passing training exercises with near perfect scores.
Michael is the son of Jason and Monica Rogers of Hollister.
Mark Torres
Marine Corps 1st Lt. Mark A. Torres, son of Rachel C. Balcazar of Hanford and Carlos M. Torres of Morgan Hill, recently reported for duty with Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron One, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, Okinawa, Japan.
Torres is a 1994 graduate of Live Oak High School of Morgan Hill and joined the Marine Corps in March 2008. He is a 2000 graduate of Bethany College, Scotts Valley, with a bachelor’s degree and a 2003 graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton, with a MDIV degree.
