Burglaries

Burglars broke into a garage and used an unlocked door to enter a home in the 1300 block of Gloria Drive in Hollister between 10:45am and 4:30pm Wednesday, the Hollister Police Department said. Burglars took two voided checks from a checkbook, police said. There are no suspects.

Burglars used an unlocked bedroom window to enter to a home in the 1200 block of South Street in Hollister between 7:30am and 6pm Wednesday, police said. Burglars took a laptop, video game console and video games valued at approximately $3,000, police said. There are no suspects.

Attempted burglary

Burglars attempted to use a ground-floor window and then a second-story window to enter a home in the first block of Sierra Court in Hollister at approximately 1:30pm Tuesday, police said.

Arrests

Drugs

Rebecca Ann Hernandez, 29; Yvonne Florenz Baker, 23; and Robert Edmund Zieminski, 30, all of Hollister, were arrested by the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office on suspicion of various misdemeanor and felony drug charges in the 1300 block of Hillcrest Road at 11:30pm Wednesday, deputies said. Deputies found more than five grams of methamphetamine and a smoking pipe during the arrest, deputies said. Hollister police assisted in the arrest of the suspects.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
