Driving Under the Influence:
Jillian Victoria Montgomery, 22, of the 200 block of Browns Valley Road in Paicines, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop on Highway 25 south of Murphy Road at 7:55pm Friday, according to the CHP.
Andrea Barner, 47, of the 900 block of Prospect Avenue in Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after she hit another vehicle in the 1300 block of Rancho Drive in Hollister at 11:46pm Saturday, police said.
Assault with a Deadly Weapon:
Martin Troy Arias, 45, of the 300 block of South Street in Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, a felony, and disturbing the peace, a misdemeanor, after a fight in the Nob Hill parking lot in Hollister at 12:24pm Sunday, police said. Arias and another man, Richard Santiago Silva, got into a fight in the parking lot, police said. Silva got out of his vehicle and pushed Arias twice, police said. Arias then hit Silva in his head with a cane, police said. Officers arrested Arias and cited Silva for disrupting the peace, police said
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
