Gavilan College is offering a new noncredit film course for adults 55 and older. The free film class is being offered Wednesday afternoons from 2pm to 5pm through June 6 at the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse.

The course, “Film Classics” will screen both classic films, such as “The African Queen,” as well as modern movies, such as the Academy Award-nominated “Little Miss Sunshine.”

Students will be invited to discuss the films, looking at the history and background of each film.

Although the course has already started, enrollment is open-ended so students are invited to stop in for even just one class.
