Grand theft
The wheels of an Acura Integra parked in the 200 block of Willow Drive in Hollister were stolen between 10pm April 12 and 10am April 13, the Hollister Police Department said. There are no suspects.
A stereo and case of CDs worth $430 were stolen from a car parked in the 800 block of Line Street in Hollister between 3pm Sunday and 4pm Monday, police said. There are no suspects.
Vandalism
The windshield of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of E. Park Street in Hollister was broken at about 10pm Tuesday, police said. Police suspect a woman with a baseball bat.
Brandishing
Men in a white Toyota Corolla pointed a black handgun at an 18-year-old man in the 800 block of Canal Alley in Hollister at 4pm Saturday, police said. The men had asked the victim if he was a Norteño street gang member, police said.
A 14-year-old boy flashed a knife at a 20-year-old man on Prospect Avenue in Hollister at 5:15pm Monday, police said.
Arrests
Drunk in public
Silvia Romero, 18, of the first block of Plumtree Drive in Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, in the first block of Plumtree Drive in Hollister at 9:48pm Monday, police said.
Edward Turner, 33, of the 1200 block of Bonnie View Way in Hollister, was arrested by police on suspicion of being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, on Black Forest Drive in Hollister at 9:34am Tuesday, police said.
Vehicle burglary
An 11-year-old boy was arrested by police on suspicion of attempted burglary, a felony, in the 800 block of Central Avenue in Hollister at 11:48pm Tuesday, police said. The boy was attempting to break into a vehicle, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
