Junior golf clinics
HOLLISTER
– Ridgemark Golf and Country Club is offering Junior Golf
Clinics and Junior Golf Memberships. The clinics are for kids ages
6 to 18. The class size is limited to 30 participants and the cost
for the clinic is $100, due prior to the clinic start date. There
will be clinics on June 19-21, July 10-1
2, July 24-26, and August 7-9 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Memberships
are also available. Tournament participants must have a Junior Golf
Membership. No sign-up is necessary for the membership, just show
up on the day of the tournament at least 15 minutes before tee
time. There are 4-hole, 6-hole, and 9-hol
e tournaments. Tournaments will be held July 14, August 11,
September 15, and October 20. Start times are 3:00 p.m. For more

Soccer signs up starting
HOLLISTER – The Hollister Earthquakes is a Girls Under 11 competitive league. It is a year-round program with opportunities to play spring or fall soccer, compete in tournaments, and play indoor soccer. It also provides off-season conditioning, practices, and skills development camps. The girls soccer team is looking for girls born after 7/31/96. Hall of Fame induction
SAN MATEO – Ben Parks, a Hollister native and former football and wrestling coach at Menlo-Atherton High School, will be inducted into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame on Thursday, June 21 at the San Mateo Elks Lodge. The reception begins at 5:30 p.m. The cost is $50 a person and the deadline for ticket sales is June 18.
