Burglary

A home was entered between 7am and 10:30am Saturday in the 100 block of Redwood Drive in Hollister, according to the Hollister Police Department. An XBox worth $250 was taken. There are no suspects.

n residence was broken into between 3pm and 6pm Saturday in the 1000 block of Caputo Court in Hollister, police said. Electronic equipment worth $180 was taken, police said. There are no suspects.

A vehicle was broken into at about 12:30am Sunday in the 1100 block of Central Avenue in Hollister, police said. Stereo equipment worth $275 and Spy sunglasses worth $180 were taken, police said. There are no suspects.

A home was entered between 3pm and 8pm Sunday in the 700 block of Walnut Lane in Hollister, police said. Tapes, a ring and a cell phone worth $600 were taken, police said. There are no suspects.

A residence was entered between 7am and 7:30pm Monday in the 200 block of Birch Lane in Hollister, police said. Electronics, clothes and movies worth $1,360 were taken, police said. Also, nine years of collected change worth $3,000 was taken, police said. There are no suspects.

Vandalism

Gang graffiti was reported at 1:56pm Sunday at Beverly Drive and Sunnyslope Road in Hollister, police said. There are no suspects.

Robbery

A man was threatened and attacked at 5:10am Sunday in the 800 block of Canal Alley in Hollister, police said. The victim’s wallet, containing $120 in cash, was taken, police said. There are no suspects.

Arrests

Public Intoxication

A 28-year-old Hollister man was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of public intoxication, a misdemeanor, after officers responded to a disturbance at 12:23am Sunday in the 800 block of Del Monte Drive in Hollister, police said. The man refused to go back into his home at the urging of his wife, and instead requested to be arrested and stepped outside, police said.

A 22-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of public intoxication, a misdemeanor, after officers found him unable to care for himself at 2:07am Sunday in the 500 block of Fifth Street in Hollister, police said.

Driving Under the Influence

A 26-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence and false identification to a peace officer, both misdemeanors, after a traffic stop at 8:13pm Saturday at the intersection of South and Vine streets in Hollister, police said.

A 69-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a crash at 7:15pm Friday at Central Avenue and Gonzalez Drive in Hollister, police said.

A 30-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop at 1:51am Saturday in the 100 block of South Street in Hollister, police said.

A 30-year-old Los Gatos man was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop at 8:47pm Saturday at the intersection of Fourth and Sally streets in Hollister, police said.

A 36-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a crash at 11:25pm Saturday in the 900 block of South Street in Hollister, police said.

Domestic Violence

A 30-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of domestic violence, a felony, after officers responded to a disturbance at 4pm Monday in Hollister, police said. The man had arrived home and demanded a woman make him dinner, police said. The man thought the food had not been prepared quickly enough and pushed the woman, police said. The woman fell and hit the counter, police said.
