Hollister – A 14-year-old Hollister boy was arrested after a Rancho San Justo School teacher was threatened with violence Thursday morning.

The Hollister Police Department arrested the teenager on suspicion of threats, a felony, after a Rancho teacher reported that he told her he was going to “cap” her, police Capt. Richard Vasquez said. Officers responded to the school at 11:10am Thursday, police reported.

Vasquez said the teacher feared the boy meant he would bring a firearm to school.

The incident began when the teacher asked the teenager and another 13-year-old boy to stop talking in class, Vasquez said. The teens began calling the teacher names and the 14-year-old boy then threatened the woman, the captain said.

Officers cited both teens for disrupting class. One of the boys was on his first day back from being suspended after aggressive behavior toward another teacher, Vasquez said.
