It’s time again for the pigskin
Football season officially opened last weekend putting a smile
on many football fans faces. There were plenty of upsets handed out
on opening weekend, my Broncos being one of them. They started
their season in fine fashion, losing their first game of the
season, again. Besides football, there were plenty of things going
on in South County last week as well.

Football season officially opened last weekend putting a smile on many football fans faces. There were plenty of upsets handed out on opening weekend, my Broncos being one of them. They started their season in fine fashion, losing their first game of the season, again. Besides football, there were plenty of things going on in South County last week as well.
Anniversary wishes go out to Bill and Robin Rist who celebrated their 33rd (wow!) anniversary on September 8th. Bill said he didn’t even realize he was 33 years old, let alone having been married that long! John and Marianne Madson celebrated their 17th anniversary the following day, on the 9th.
Birthday wishes go out to Candace Brewen who celebrated on the 8th, and to Colleen Sabin who celebrated hers on the 13th.
The Bitterwater Lady Badgers would like to thank the community members for the wonderful support of their bake sale last Friday.  The bake sale made over $400.00 in one half hour of sales. The proceeds will pay for the girls’ uniforms, equipment and tournament fee’s for the year. Thank you to all who donated.
Have a great week, and, if you have any news you’d like to share, be sure to give me a call or e-mail me at we********@ao*.com.
