Driving Under the Influence:
Michael Scott Parkin, 47, of Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for misdemeanor driving under the influence on Highway 25 just south of the Highway 156 junction at 11:02pm Friday, the CHP said. The arrest was the result of a routine traffic stop, the CHP said.
Tizoc Jimenez Araujo, 18, of San Bruno, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for misdemeanor driving under the influence, minor in possession of alcohol and driving without a license on Highway 25 north of Hudner Lane at 3:52am Saturday, the CHP said. The arrest was the result of a routine traffic stop, the CHP said.
Donald Clayton Olson, 62, of Aromas, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for misdemeanor driving under the influence in the 3000 block of Anzar Road in Aromas at 9:32pm Saturday, the CHP said. The San Benito County Sheriff’s Office made original contact with Olson and turned jurisdiction over to the CHP, the CHP said.
Possession of Methamphetamine:
Francisco Lopez Ruedas, 52, of Hollister was arrested by the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office for misdemeanor use of a controlled substance and felony possession of methamphetamine after a routine traffic stop at the corner Fourth Street and Locust Street in Hollister at 2:15pm Saturday, the sheriff’s office said. Deputies allegedly found 0.39 grams of methamphetamine inside Ruedas’ vehicle, the sheriff’s office said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
