DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:
Jose Arevalo, 29, of 2580 Glenview Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, in the 400 block of McCray Street at 12:39am on Sunday after he was seen driving erratically, police said.
Ruben Rangel, 41, of Gilroy, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, and possession of a controlled substance, a felony, during a traffic stop in the 200 block of McCray Street at 1:39am on Sunday, police said.
Anna Canepa, 36, of 1741 Mimosa St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, at San Benito and South streets at 11:42pm on Saturday, police said.
WEAPON AT SCHOOL:
A 15-year-old Hollister male was arrested by Hollister police for having a pocket knife and a marijuana smoking pipe at San Benito High School, misdemeanors, around 9am on Friday, police said.
CAR THEFT:
A 17 and 16-year-old Hollister male were arrested by Hollister police for grand theft, a felony, after they stole a car in the 700 block of Nash Road at 11:08pm on Friday, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
