ROBBERY:

Two unknown black males in their mid-30s robbed a Hollister male Wednesday after purporting to sell him a car, but instead snatched the $6,500 in cash the man brought with him to buy the car, police said. The victim, who intended to buy a 1993 Toyota pick-up truck he saw listed on the Internet, met the two men at Vet’s Park in the 900 block of Hillcrest Road at 11pm, police said. When he showed them the money, one of the men grabbed it out of the man’s hand and quickly drove off in a new black Hummer, police said. One of the suspects is described as a black male, about 6 feet tall, 200 pounds wearing a Cal Berkeley hat. The other man is described as having a stocky build, 6 feet 2 inches tall, about 220 pounds, blue eyes, wearing a large gold chain and a bullet hole in his left arm, police said. No weapons were used and the victim was not injured, police said.

BURGLARY:

Unknown suspects stole a $64 CD player from a car parked in the 600 block of C Street around 2:20am on Tuesday, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
