CAR THEFT:
Unknown suspects stole a red 1986 pick-up truck parked in the 1000 block of South Street sometime between Wednesday and Thursday, police said.
CAR BURGLARY:
Unknown suspects stole $900 in electronics from a car parked on the corner of Vine and Sally streets around 6:30am on Thursday, police said.
DRUG POSSESSION:
Jason Thorn, 25, of Gilroy, was arrested by Hollister police in the 200 block of McCray Street at 10:30pm on Monday for possession of 29 grams of methamphetamine for sale, possession of marijuana for sale and transportation of a controlled substance, felonies, after police found meth, marijuana and mushrooms hidden underneath the seat of his car during a traffic stop, police said.
Ruben Bazan, 28, of 791 Busby Ct. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for transportation of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of a controlled substance, all felonies, after police found 2 grams of methamphetamine individually packaged during a traffic stop at 4:19pm on Westside Boulevard and Steinbeck Drive on Tuesday, police said.
Juan Romero, 43, of 113 Chestnut Ln. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, during a traffic stop at 4:19pm on Westside Boulevard and Steinbeck Drive on Tuesday, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
