COCAINE POSSESSION:
A 15-year-old Hollister male was arrested by Hollister police at San Benito High School at 10:11am on Monday for being under the influence of cocaine, a misdemeanor, and possession of .27 grams of cocaine, a felony, after a teacher found the drugs on the student and a guidance counselor contacted police, police said.
SEX WITH A MINOR:
Angel Romero, 20, of San Jose, was arrested by Hollister police for lewd and lascivious acts with a child and unlawful sexual intercourse, felonies, after a 13-year-old Hollister girl’s mother discovered her daughter was meeting Romero at McDonald’s on Airline Highway and having sex with him in the bathroom and in his car, police said. The girl met Romero on a telephone party line, and detectives arrested Romero after investigating the relationship for about a month, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
