DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Marianne Masteuer, 48, of 11900 Marilyn Ln. in Aromas, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, when she drove her 2001 Volvo down a ditch on Highway 101 at Cole Road around 2:10 a.m. on Sunday. She suffered minor injuries when the airbags deployed – causing scratches to her face and wrists – but was not transported to the hospital.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Christopher Alan Nelson, 28, of 190 Beresini Ln. in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level above .08, a misdemeanor, at 12:43 a.m. on Buena Vista Road, east of Highway 156 on Sunday.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Gabriel Thomas Krafft, 18, of 100 Dixie Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level above .08, a misdemeanor, on Highway 25, north of Flynn Road at 3:40 a.m. on Saturday.
DUI HIT-AND-RUN: Thomas Daniel Skowbo, 42, of 630 Del Monte Dr. in Hollister, was arrested at 6:35 p.m. on Friday by Hollister police for driving under the influence and hit-and-run, both misdemeanors, after he side-swiped four parked cars on the 900 block of Joe Borovich Drive and attempted to leave the scene. Skowbo told police he had been drinking peppermint schnapps and had taken three sleeping pills prior to driving.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Richard Perez, 35, of 841 Brittany Cr. in Hollister, was arrested at 1:10 a.m. on Saturday by Hollister police for domestic violence, a felony, after he repeatedly hit his wife with a belt causing visible welts on her left arm.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Joseph Robert Romero, 20, of 7 South St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police at 10 a.m. on Saturday for domestic violence, damaging a phone line and false imprisonment, all felonies, after he pushed his live-in girlfriend to the ground, kicked her in the face, refused to let her leave the house and ripped the phone out of the wall as she was attempting to call 911, police said.
BURGLARY: An unknown suspect stole $400 worth of baseballs, $200 worth of chest guards and $200 worth of shin guards from a wooden shack at a Little League field at 800 Memorial Dr. in Hollister sometime between Thursday night and Friday around 7 a.m., according to Hollister police.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Jose Medina-Lemus, 32, of 280 West Laloma Dr. Apt 21 in Rancho Cordova, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, on Friday at 11:40 p.m. at 850 Hillcrest Drive in Hollister.
