The letter to the editor

Dear Editor:

The letter to the editor “The truth will always win out,” is a classic example of the pot calling the kettle black.

Is it only in Hollister that we are so lame as to be lectured by letter writer Ignacio Velazquez – accused of election fraud – on topics of “truth,” “cover-ups,” “wrong doings” and “corruption?”

Those with open minds know the entire media is biased on many issues. It must be left up to the reader to determine if a certain media outlet is not telling it the way it is.

Words are cheap, and when properly formed, can be damaging. So the poisoning of the DA’s children’s pets was the straw that broke the camel’s back. No longer will readers of the Free Lance take so-called opinion writers like Ignacio Velazquez as credible. And hopefully, no more will the fine people of San Benito County allow the hate that he, out-of-town lawyers and those Klan people like the “Los Valientes” (brave ones) have perpetrated on our county to continue.

Paul Grannis,

Hollister
