FAILURE TO REGISTER AS SEX OFFENDER:

Jason Ronnie Ayala, 31, of 3237 Southside Rd. was arrested by sheriff’s deputies at 3:57pm on Tuesday at his home for failing to register his new home address with the Sheriff’s Department within five days of him moving, a felony, police said.

DRUG PARAPHERNALIA POSSESSION:

Adrian Cordova, 26, of 1492 Jacaranda Circle in Hollister, was cited by police for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, on the corner of Fourth and Line streets at 1:38am on Tuesday, police said.

POSSESSION OF STOLEN CREDIT CARDS:

Jose Trigo, 24, of 961 Del Rio Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by police for possessing stolen credit cards, having false vehicle registration, giving a false name to police and being an unlicensed driver, all misdemeanors, after he was stopped in the 500 block of Monterey Street at 11:23pm on Tuesday, police said.

BURGLARY:

Unknown suspects stole a DVD player and DVDs, totaling $400, from a residence in the 1100 block of Cedar Drive in Hollister sometime between 8am and 5pm on Wednesday, police said.

VANDALISM:

Roxane Parra Cardenaz, 28, of 330 Haydon St. in Hollister, was cited by Hollister police at 6:33pm on Wednesday for vandalism, a misdemeanor, after she kicked out the screen door of the residence, police said.

ARSON:

Unknown suspects lit a fire in a dumpster in the 300 block of Tres Pinos Road causing minimal damage around 8:15pm on Wednesday, police said.

UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE:

Jeremiah Amos Cuilty, 21, of 675 Sixth St. in Hollister, was arrested by police for being under the influence of a con trolled substance, a misdemeanor, in the Safeway parking lot at 2:56am on Tuesday, police said.

Miguel Angel Hernandez, 40, of 371 Rustic St. in Hollister, was arrested by police for being under the influence of a controlled substance and resisting arrest, misdemeanors, and felony vandalism after police responded to the resi dence for a call of a disturbance at 10:21pm on Monday, police said. Hernandez struggled with police when they attempted to take him into custody and then broke a police car window, police said.

PETTY THEFT:

Adrian Torres Esparza, 49, of 711 South St. in Hollister, was cited for petty theft after he stole undisclosed items from the Salvation Army at 1605 Cushman St. at 5:45pm on Wednesday, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
