WARRANT ARREST:
Carlos Omar Argueta, 29, of 461 Seventh St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for two warrants – battery and being under the influence of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors – in the 900 block of San Benito Street at 4:19am on Wednesday, police said.
POSSESSION OF DRUGS:
Noel Rene Luna, 21, of 404 Powell St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for possession of a controlled substance, a felony, on San Benito and Olive streets at 12:35pm on Wednesday, police said.
DRUNK IN PUBLIC:
Jose Raul Guerrero, 24, a transient, was arrested by Hollister police for being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, in the 200 block of San Benito Street at 10:19am on Wednesday after he called 911 dispatchers and told them he was going to rob Bank of America but would wait until police arrived to do it, police said. When officers arrived he also told them he was going to assault them, but was taken into custody without further incident, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
