This story (“Details on Santos deal unveiled,” Free Lance Nov. 17) saddens me. It’s very heart breaking. The plea bargain sickens me. There is so much evidence. Where is the justice? There is more evidence here than the Laci Peterson case. These men admitted they killed Ralph Santos. The Santos family faces a battle for justice while still in grief.
How many murders have been committed in Hollister? I would like to compare. Who was the District Attorney? Judges, what was the sentence?
Didn’t the governor of California just sign something regarding violence against homosexuals? And how will that law effect this case? I personally don’t believe Ralph Santos was a homosexual, but if that was their claim, let them get the penalty for what they claim.
Ralph Santos was a good man, husband, father, pastor, uncle and friend to many people. This man Ralph Santos is very much loved and missed. It’s a matter of justice.
