GRAND THEFT:
Unknown suspects stole $100 tool box and $800 in tools from a truck in front of a residence in the 1100 block of Jacqueline Drive in Hollister sometime between 7:15am and 9:20am on Tuesday, police said.
DRUNK IN PUBLIC:
Mark J. DePonte, 35, a transient, was arrested by Hollister police for being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, at the Chevron gas station on San Felipe Road at 3:40pm on Tuesday, police said.
BURGLARY:
Unknown suspects broke the window of a car parked in front of a residence in the 250 block of Gonzales Drive in Hollister and stole a backpack and approximately 100 CDs sometime between Sunday at 7:30am and Tuesday at 8:30pm, police said.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:
Robert Gatto, 45, of 305 Athena Way in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, in the 300 block of East Street in Hollister at 11:19pm on Tuesday, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
