I have some more material from my golf group.
While attempting to help one of my golf buds, I asked him to see if he could hold his follow-through until the ball landed. Sure enough, he couldn’t. After some mild frustration, he asked what good does holding the follow-through until the ball lands do? I told him that first of all, he was swinging too hard, and, as a result, he wasn’t balanced.
Second of all, if he could hold his follow-through position (or pose), that he would most likely finish on his left side (which he didn’t). His practice swings were the model of perfection, but the real swing was another thing. Back to the driving range for more practice. The good news is, that when it is done right, he sees the results and feels the difference.
