Kristie Paterson and Chris Spalding, both of San Diego, were
married May 24 in Mission Beach, San Diego.
Kristie Paterson and Chris Spalding, both of San Diego, were married May 24 in Mission Beach, San Diego.
Paterson’s parents are Antonie Paterson of Hollister and Bill Paterson of Los Banos. Spalding’s parents are Jennifer and Michael Spalding of Upperville, Va. (formerly of Corralitos, Calif.).
The couple was married at the Catamaran Resort. The reception was held at the resort with about 100 close friends and family in attendance. The couple whalewatched on their honeymooned in Guerro Begro, Baja, Calif.
Paterson is a 1989 San Benito High School graduate and earned a bachelor’s in mass communication at Menlo College in Atherton, Calif. Spalding graduated Aptos High School in 1975 and attended and San Jose State University where he graduated with a master’s in athletic training in 1983.
Paterson is a public relations manager with the American Council on Exercise in San Diego. Spalding is a director of sports medicine with the U.S. Navy SWCC/SEALs Naval Special Warfare Group 3 out of Coronado, Calif. and chief medical officer for the American Samoa National Olympic Committee.
