”
Just a reminder to all adult and student drivers that school is
back in session. Please drive carefully through school zones.
I’ve noticed that the high school kids trying to cross at San
Benito Street are constantly dodging cars who do not let them
cross. This is very dangerous.
Please use caution and give them the right of way so they can
get to school safely. Please slow down so we can all have a good
day!

“In response to the letter to the editor in the Aug. 29 Free Lance: Mute Citizens Voice: Disconnect Hotline, everybody say ah! Poor Mr. Foley.
You can’t handle the truth printed in Citizens Voice. Why do you object to the public and parents knowing the truth? Get used to it Mr. Foley.
We parents and the school classified staff are taking control of our children’s school system. No more lying or hiding. Just the truth please.”
“Here we go again. Mr. Johnny come lately City Manager Dale Shaddox and our good-old-boy Council cutting backroom deals with Award Homes’ representatives to keep the 677-unit West of Fairview subdivision alive.
This project should be dead. Thought Conroy and Scattini would be the two to shake up status quo, which supports rampant growth and has made cronyism and backroom politics a routine way of doing City Hall business.
Guess I was wrong.”
