The airmen’s association presented scholarships to locals for
the aviation program.
Hollister Airmen’s Association proudly presented scholarships to four students at Gavilan College’s Aviation Technology Department at the Hollister Municipal Airport on May 26. The students are, from left to right, Jason Jimenez, Derek Roth, Elsie Hartman and Austin Machado.
A certificate of appreciation from the Hollister Airmen’s Association and Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1264 was presented to instructors David Connal and Travis Flippen for many years of working together for advancing aviation education.
After nearly 50 years at the airport, the Gavilan College aviation program is moving to the San Martin airport.
