Jim and Shirley Ackerman shared their 60th Anniversary March 6,
2009, and gathered with friends, family and neighbors April 19, at
the Bertha Briggs Building, in Hollister, to celebrate. More than
100 adults and two dozen children attended, with family and friends
from all over California, Arizona and Oregon.
The couple, who live in Redding, lived in Hollister for 35 years
before moving north in 1984.
