Jazlyn Herrera raises her hand to answer a question during her seventh grade Spanish literature elective class at Maze Middle School in 2014.

A suspected bomb threat was found on the wall of a student restroom—the second incident in about five weeks at Marguerite Maze Middle School, according to a press release from the Hollister School District.
The message was reported Thursday afternoon and referenced a bomb on Monday, according to the statement. School is not in session Friday due to staff training but classes will occur as normal Monday, according to the press release.
Previously, the district and the Hollister Police Department responded to a threatening message found Sept. 23. The note allegedly warned the office to evacuate the school Sept. 25 because of a bomb, according to a previous press release from the district.
In early October, the Hollister Police Department arrested a 12-year-old suspect and released the minor to a parent, following an investigation into the bomb threats at the school.
