winners of this year’s this year’s countywide spelling bee.

In the elementary division, the winners were: 1st place, Taylor Shook, a sixth-grader from Sacred Heart; 2nd place, Sabrina Watts, a fifth-grader from Cerra Vista; 3rd place, Elli Giacomazzi, a fifth-grader from Cienega; Victor Reyes, a fifth-grader from Southside.
In the junior high division, the winners were: Katie Zaucha, a seventh-grader from Tres Pinos; Katherine Whorley, a seventh-grader from Rancho San Justo; David Kret, an eighth-grader from Southside; and Michael Breen, a seventh-grader from Sacred Heart.
