On Saturday, the area’s gleeks tried their hand at singing in the style of the FOX hit TV show “Glee” for the full-length, feature movie that will be filmed in Gilroy over the coming months.
Director John Bisceglie, the founder of the Gilroy Children’s Musical Theater in 1991, held open auditions Saturday at the Gilroy Senior Center for his 41st production. Saturday-only practices kick off in September and run through October.
Earlier this month, Bisceglie said signs-ups have been brisk, with about 130 participants – some hailing from Pleasanton and San Francisco.
