‘Balers’ Girls Finish Third

Hollister – The Hollister girls’ water polo team ended its season Saturday by defeating Salinas for third place in the TCAL Tournament.

The ‘Balers, seeded fourth in the tournament, upset the third-seeded Cowboys by a score of 10-4 at Santa Catalina.

“The girls wanted that game,” said Hollister head coach Derek Kisling. “It was just a good team effort and everybody played together and knew what they had to do.”

Live Oak, which earned a defeated host Santa Catalina for the championship.
