Members meet once a month and race their vintage, pre-1974 MX motorcycles for fun and sport. There are only a few rules and the first one is, everyone has a good time. Firefighters Breakfast
Hollister Firefighters’ Association and Sacred Heart Parish School Men’s Club host a Holiday Boutique and Breakfast with Santa with all you can eat sausage, pancakes, and egg breakfast. Please bring an unwrapped toy for the Annual Firefighters’ Toy Drive. Winter Concert
If you’re looking for a little inspiration and holiday spirit them mark your calendar for Oriana Chorale’s Christmas Concert. The title of this years concert is Joy to the World with musical selections from around the world. Enjoy the added bonus of the Oriana Youth Chorus voices singing a medley of Christmas favorites including selections from Handel’s Messiah. Meet the mountain men, Civil War soldiers and the Victorian ladies at the San Juan Bautista Historic Park as History Comes Alive. Hayden Christmas
Residents and visitors of San Juan Bautista have enjoyed the tradition of the Annual Holiday Bonfire and Hayden Christmas Celebration for many years. It began during the depression era when the Hayden family pooled funds to help buy candies, toys and oranges for the community children. The bonfire was erected to bring the people together, celebrating with games and song. Stop by the Community Hall at 10 San Jose St. and visit with Santa. Christmas Double Race
Show your Christmas spirit as you run, walk or hike at the Annual Christmas Double Road Race. Dress in costume as an elf, Santa or what ever fills you with the spirit of the holiday. There will be four super fun racing events including Bob Anderson’s Kids Cup Double with a 1 mile run then rest then complete with a final half mile run. Come run on Saturday, Dec. 17. The Wright Brothers
The Wings of History Aviation Museum will present The Wright Brothers and their magnificent flying machine. Orville and Wilbur Wright flew the Kitty Hawk on Dec. 17 in 1903. Find out how they accomplished their greatest flying feat and take a tour of a full size replica of the Wright Flyer and observe a video about the brothers. Free event geared toward 12 and up.
