Allacyn Biesemeyer and Joey Spears were wed Sept. 20 at the
First Presbyterian Church in Hollister.
Allacyn Biesemeyer and Joey Spears were wed Sept. 20 at the First Presbyterian Church in Hollister. Pastor Hanna Peterson performed the ceremony in front of 100 friends and family members. The couple’s wedding reception followed at the Ridgemark Tennis Club. Mr. and Mrs. Spears enjoyed a honeymoon in Pismo Beach and at Disneyland.
Allacyn is the daughter of Allan and Cindy Biesemeyer of Hollister. Joey is the son of Mike and Monaca Machado, also of Hollister.
The bride was attended by maid of honor, Meghan Williams. Joey’s best man was his dad, Mike. The two flower girls were Lucy Kim of Castro Valley and Bailie Nelson of Hollister. The maid of honor and flower girls wore sage green and the reception hall was decorated in forest green and daisies with a western theme. The guests dined on hor’doeurves and danced to the music of Pro DJ Kenny Wong. A special song for the groom, “But I Do Love You” was sung by the bride’s aunt, Khara Rice.
Allacyn is an administrative assistant in the office of Dr. Dale VanKirk in Gilroy. Joey is a heavy equipment mechanic at Robinson & Moretti of Gilroy. The couple resides in Tres Pinos.
