Hollister Police are looking for a male suspect who has reportedly been impersonating a cop in recent incidents in town.

“The Hollister Police Department would never call you and demand money," reads a statement from the PD.

The checkpoint will start 5pm Sunday, March 17, and continue to 1am March 18, according to a press release from Hollister Police. The checkpoint will take place at an undisclosed location inside the city limits.

Anyone who thinks their vehicle was struck by an object on SR-152 in this area and during the specified time frame is asked to file a police report with the CHP office, if they have not already done so, authorities urged.
