Hollister Police arrested an 18-year-old local man for possession of drugs and a firearm after he attempted to sneak away from an officer who noticed him driving in a suspicious manner, according to authorities.
Fidone was ordered to register as a sex offender within five days of his release, but the county’s Megan’s Law website lists him as “In Violation.” His entry on the sex offender registry does not include a current address or any other updated information.
Gomez was transported to San Benito County Jail and booked on suspicion of carrying a loaded firearm, carrying a loaded firearm while being a gang member, carrying a loaded firearm for which he was not the owner, altering the serial numbers on a firearm and possession of a high-capacity magazine.
