Searches for missing Morgan Hill teenager Sierra LaMar will resume Wednesday after the family and KlaasKids Foundation took last Wednesday off for the July 4 holiday.

In an effort to encourage more people to help search for missing 15-year-old Sierra LaMar, Morgan Hill filmmaker Brian Garcia recently produced a two-part documentary highlighting the volunteer search efforts.

 A Facebook post by someone posing as Sierra LaMar asking to "please call police he's coming back" and listing a Saratoga address, has been ruled a hoax by the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department according to other news reports.

The family of missing Morgan Hill teen Sierra LaMar increased the reward for information about the missing 15-year-old. 

The family of Sierra LaMar has changed the criteria for a $25,000 reward for information about the teen’s disappearance. 

Volunteers are still asked to help search for Sierra LaMar, 15, and some citizens from halfway across the country vow to travel to Morgan Hill just to help bring closure to the missing teen’s family.
