HOLLISTER
The San Benito County Board of Supervisors today unanimously chose Supervisor Anthony Botelho as chairman for the year.
Botelho succeeds Supervisor Jaime De La Cruz, who was the board chairman and overseer of meetings for 2008.
The vice chairman traditionally is elected chair the following year. Botelho was vice chairman last year, while supervisors unanimously picked Supervisor Reb Monaco as vice chairman for 2009.
