At the San Benito County Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, the board will be set to approve Hollister Engineering Manager Steve Wittry as the new public works administrator.
Hollister Engineering Manager Steve Wittry has been selected to take over the position from current acting Public Works Administrator Janelle Cox. Assistant County Administrative Officer Rich Inman said Wittry is expected to begin working for the county July 21.
Wittry has been with the city since 1998 in various capacities including as civil engineer and deputy director of public works. He was chosen from more than 40 other applicants.
The board of supervisors meets at 9 a.m. on Tuesday at the County Administrative Office, 481 Fourth Street, in Hollister.
