Winter High School Prep basketball league: Hollister Recreation is currently taking registration for Winter High School Prep League Basketball. SBJ Chamber: The San Juan Bautista Chamber of Commerce will hold a dinner meeting Wednesday, Dec. 17. Monterey Aquarium: A New Year’s Eve celebration will be held at the Monterey Bay Aquarium from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets to the New Year’s Eve party and dance are $50 per person ($40 for aquarium members). An optional strolling dinner will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Dinner tickets include admission to the party and are $130 per person ($105 for aquarium members).

Little League: Hollister Little League final registration will be held Saturday, Jan. 3 at the Hollister Recreation Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fees are $85 for the first player, $50 for an additional player and $50 for T-ball.
