WATER UTILITY TRAINING: A Water Treatment Plant Operation class will begin at 8 a.m. on Sept. 11 and run eleven consecutive Saturday mornings at San Juan Bautista City Hall, 311 Second Street. The course will introduce conventional water treatment plant operation processes and prepare students for the Grade 2 Water Treatment Plant Operator exam in Spring of 2005. Fall BALL: The Hollister Little League will hold Fall Ball sign-ups Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m at at the Little League fields at Veteran’s Memorial Park. The cost is $40. The season begins Sept. 1 and runs for eight weeks.
Public Transit Hearing: The San Benito County Local Transportation Authority will host a public hearing on August 5 at 5:30 p.m. to provide information and receive comments from the public regarding proposed modifications to Fixed Route and Dial-a-Ride transit services.
