Gilroy residents Stephanie Carota and Matt Sanchez announced their engagement March 22.
Carota’s parents are Terri and Emmanuel Carota of Gilroy and Sanchez’s parents are Annette and Bob Sanchez also of Gilroy.
The couple were engaged on 17 Mile Drive in Monterey. They plan to marry September 27 in Gilroy.
Carota is a 1997 graduate of San Benito High School and is attending San Jose State University part time. She works at Rianda Air Inc. in Hollister. Sanchez is a 1993 graduate of Homestead High School in Cupertino, Calif. He is a sales manager at Office Max in Gilroy. The couple reside together in Gilroy.
