The San Benito County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau is hosting an election forum Monday in San Juan Bautista.
The forum will involve candidates for city council along with other issues on the ballot such as Measure J, the proposed countywide ban against fracking, cyclic steaming and well acidizing in the local oil industry, along with a ban of all petroleum activities in rural residential zones surrounding the two cities.
The forum is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6359 Hall, 58 Monterey St.
